About PLUGPLUG is a very informal group of people in the Phoenix, Arizona, USA area who get together several times a month. We talk about the state of GNU/Linux, what we've recently done with GNU/Linux, share problems and create solutions. No knowledge of GNU/Linux is presumed or required, although most members are running Linux in some application. PLUG membership is no cost and open to anyone. We also welcome users and fans of all Free Software and Open Source Software such as GNU and BSD. To join just subscribe to a mailing list, attend a meeting or join our IRC channel. We recommend the applications mailing list for those new to PLUG or GNU/Linux. PLUG holds several meetings per month in different locations around the Phoenix valley. Where the members desire and create, we have meetings. PLUG members also often attend the Free Software Stammtische. A purely volunteer association, everything happens in PLUG because someone made it happen. If you have something you'd like to do, let the group know about it. You are sure to find some help and we love more help. |
